# Roastnest

> Feedback capture, bug reporting and referral management. An embeddable React
> SDK (`@roastnest/react`) lets end users select a DOM element, attach a
> screenshot and submit contextual feedback, or generate and share referral
> links. Project admins review submissions in a dashboard and forward them to
> Jira, Slack or Discord, or to any HTTPS endpoint via signed webhooks.

- Webhook deliveries are signed per endpoint. The signature header carries a
  timestamp and one or more `v1` values - treat `v1` as a list and accept the
  request if any entry matches.
- Referrer and referee identity is taken at face value. Identify people by your
  own user id, by email, or both; whichever you send comes back on every
  referral webhook as `userId`.
